The mission of Telos Ministries is to teach God’s people to believe what God says, and to think biblically. The mission of Telos Biblical Institute is to enable pastors and laypeople to pursue solid biblical and theological instruction at a fraction of the cost of standard seminary education.

There are many great Christian Apologetics Ministries and Bible Institutions on the internet. So why have we picked Telos? We are featuring Telos Theological Ministries because it is an excellent ministry which isn’t as well-known as some of the others, but it is one which should be.
I first stumbled across this ministry a few years ago when I was researching dispensationalism, although it had a different name back then. A Google search led me to Dr. Paul Martin Henebury’s blog (A.K.A. Dr. Reluctant). Dr. Henebury is the President of Telos Theological Ministries and its Bible Institute. You can read his Bio HERE
The article which first attracted my attention was a response to The Ninety-Five Theses Against Dispensationalism compiled by Ken Gentry and Jerry Johnson. Dr. Reluctant responded to each “thesis” (and more) in a fascinating series of essays which you can read HERE. The responses were gracious, well-reasoned and allowed the biblical texts to speak for themselves.
Since then I’ve profited much from the Telos Theological Ministries website and blog. Along with a large variety of articles on theology and apologetics, another valuable feature the blog provides is a recommendation of the kind of books to read if one wants to study God’s word.
Dr. Henebury is always careful to avoid the trap of allowing tradition and assumption to interpret what the biblical text is saying. This is a rare quality today. This ministry has much to offer for any Christian who understands that God means when He says.
