Testimony of a Redeemed Mormon

February 14, 2022 By Alf Cengia

The video below is the testimony of a redeemed Mormon.

The video below is the testimony of a redeemed Mormon. Micah Wilder was interviewed by Doreen Virtue, who also came out of the New Age. Wilder’s testimony is convicting and encouraging. It is a testament to the power of God’s Word, as found only in Scripture.

What is Mormonism?

The Mormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) considers itself to be Christian. But, in fact, it is not. More correctly it is a cult which has adopted Christian terms and appropriated the name of Jesus.

According to GotQuestions,

The Mormon religion (Mormonism), whose followers are known as Mormons and Latter-day Saints (LDS), was founded less than two hundred years ago by a man named Joseph Smith. He claimed to have received a personal visit from God the Father and Jesus Christ (Articles of Faith, p. 35) who told him that all churches and their creeds were an abomination (1 Nephi 13:28; Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith – History 1:18, 19). Joseph Smith then set out to “restore true Christianity” and claimed his church to be the “only true church on earth” (Mormon Doctrine, p. 670; 1 Nephi 14:10). The problem with Mormonism is that it contradicts, modifies, and expands on the Bible. Christians do not have a reason to believe that the Bible is untrue or inadequate. What precipitated Wilder’s conversion? How did he react to what he read in the Bible? How did his family respond?

The Video

Ex-Mormon missionary, Micah Wilder, shares his amazing testimony of how God worked on his heart through the Bible, and led Micah out of deception and into the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Micah’s new book, Passport to Heaven, details his testimony of leaving Mormonism to become a born-again Christian.

Maranatha!
