The Real Problem with Israel

The Real Problem with Israel is that it needs to acknowledge its Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And one day it will. There will come a time when God will bring all nations against it, and then He will go and fight against the nations.

I recently watched a video between a former Marxist (agnostic) and an American Jewish woman who lives in Israel. The discussion touched upon the problem of evil and the world’s rejection of godly principles. At one point the woman mentioned the coming of Messiah. However, she doesn’t recognize that Christ is her and Israel’s, and this world’s only hope. I was prompted to think of the following verses…

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. Ezek 36:26-27

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. Zech 14:2-3

And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. Zech 12:10

I will go away and return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me. Hos 5:15

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather [episunago] your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! For I say to you, from now on you shall not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!‘ Mat 23:37-39

…and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. Mat 24:30
