Christians Cannot Testify About Persecution. According to Gatestone Institute's Raymond Ibrahim, the U.S. State Dept is barring Christians from testifying about persecution. Middle East Christians are often denied visa entry into the United States. Ibrahim argues that these actions are motivated by the desire to … [Read more...]
John MacArthur – We Will Not Bow
John MacArthur - We Will Not Bow. John MacArthur of Grace To You recently affirmed that the church will not bow to anyone but Jesus Christ. This follows the recent SCOTUS decision to legalize same-sex marriage and a host of other incidents involving Christians and homosexual issues. He warned that the church (aside … [Read more...]
ISIS Mimics Israel
Apparently ISIS mimics Israel. Interestingly, over the past weeks I've seen Christianity being compared to ISIS. They say this is the case because ISIS imposes laws on those it subjugates. American Christians wish to impose their laws on the rest of the nation, hence the comparison. Now you know. I guess it's … [Read more...]
New Testament Re-interprets the Old Testament?
New Testament Re-interprets the Old Testament? Does the New Testament really re-interpret the Old Testament? What does that actually mean and why would anyone suggest such a thing? I confess to frustration at the myths and inferences which these consistently churn … [Read more...]
The Binding of Satan
The binding of Satan. If Satan is already bound as amillennialists claim, why is there so much deception in the world? Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old - who is the Devil and Satan … [Read more...]
God’s Word on Homosexuality
Following below is a link to a 2008 article by John MacArthur God's Word on Homosexuality. How does God see homosexuality? This post comes three days after the SCOTUS sanctioned same-sex marriage. It wasn't too long ago that such an event would have shocked American culture. The many people who celebrated along … [Read more...]
She’ll be right, Christian
There's an old Australian saying: She'll be right, Mate! Some Aussies use it when they know a given situation isn't really quite right. It's a term of encouragement and bravado - sort of like the British stiff upper lip. Don't admit things are. Always say, she'll be right. I recall when I was working for a … [Read more...]
