Did Christianity Borrow From Paganism?

April 1, 2015 By Alf Cengia

Mary Jo Sharp

Did Christianity borrow from paganism to come up with its resurrection story? Was Jesus just a concoction of borrowed myths as some atheists and skeptics argue? Are we believing a lie? Professor Mary Jo Sharp has responded to these assertions in a presentation at Biola University.

As part of her bio states:

Mary Jo Sharp is a former atheist from the Pacific Northwest who thought religion was for the weak-minded. She now holds a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is the first woman to become a Certified Apologetics Instructor through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
