Living on the Edge exists to help Christians live like Christians. The ministry was established in 1995 as a radio ministry of pastor and author Chip Ingram, and has since grown into an international discipleship ministry. The ministry creates biblical teaching and tools that challenge and equip spiritually hungry Christians to become mature disciples of Jesus.
The ultimate vision of Living on the Edge is to be a catalytic movement of Christians living out their faith in ways that transform families, churches, and communities for the common good and the glory of God.

Chip Ingram is the senior pastor of Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, California, and founder of Living on the Edge. As a pastor for over 25 years, Chip has served in a variety of churches ranging from 500 people in Texas to 5,000 in California. In 1995, he established Living on the Edge as a radio ministry, which has since grown into an international discipleship ministry. Chip’s teaching is heard by over one million people worldwide each week via the web, radio, and television. Chip is passionate about helping people discover God’s truth and live it out on a daily basis. Chip also served for five years as president of Walk Thru the Bible. Chip completed his undergraduate studies at West Liberty State College, holds a master’s degree in education from West Virginia University, and earned a master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Teaching God’s Truth
In 2011, over 1 million people a week watched, listened or streamed the Biblical teaching of Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram. Chip is heard on 900 radio outlets throughout the U.S. and LOTE TV is broadcast on NRBTV and numerous overseas outlets. Our largest growth by far is in digital listeners, with an average of 24,000 daily users listening online via the Web and podcasts.
Strengthening God’s Community
The Biblical, life-changing resources created by Living on the Edge equip everyday believers to live out their faith in truly transformational ways. To date, over 1.4 million people have experienced a Living on the Edge Group Study. All of resources – whether individual, group or church-wide – are aimed at helping people move from being spiritual spectators to actively engaging their faith every day.
Equipping God’s People
With an online community of just over 2 million people, LivingontheEdge.org and r12 Online deliver Biblical truth and discipleship resources that help people grow in their relationship with God and each other. Our free online resources are easy to find and share, and help people apply God’s truth to their lives in practical, tranformational ways.
