Did you know that we are in Spiritual Warfare with the Invisible World? This has been the theme of several previous posts at Zeteo3:16.
We keep coming back to this (and will continue to do so) because it has always been important for the church to understand who the Enemy is and how he operates. At the same time it is crucial for us to know who our Redeemer is and that He has already defeated the Enemy. Unfortunately, today, the church is rapidly drifting away from these essential truths. The world is quickly shaping up as hostile territory for those who choose to remain faithful to God’s word. Hence we all need to be constantly reminded that we are in a war zone as ambassadors for Christ.
The Apostle Paul admonished the Ephesians to:
Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. Eph 6:11-13
